Key2Mail delivers assurance, confidentiality and integrity for emails sent and received, regardless of email client platform e.g. Outlook, Outlook Express and Notes users.

Key2Mail, a core component of the Key2IT Assured Messaging platform, provides assurance to email

• within the organisation,
• from the organisation to business partners
• from the organisation to individuals e.g. consumers
• between individuals.

Key2Mail is available as an extension package to the well known Microsoft Exchange™ platform and as a standalone Mail Transfer Agent (MTA) for either Windows™ or Linux mail server environments.

Key2Mail adds the following properties and features to 'ordinary' email:

• Known Sender and Recipient
• Positive authentication of the Sender and Recipient
• Confidentiality of the mail body and attachments
• Integrity of the mail body and attachments
• SMTP and Microsoft Exchange™ support
• Integrated with Outlook, Notes, Groupwise, Outlook Express and other mail clients
• The mail-body and attachments are virus, spam and content checked, unsing industry 'standard' products before delivery to the recipient(s)
• Industry standard encryption and integrity techniques
• Assured Emails are recoverable and transferable between mailboxes e.g. for staff transfers, re-assignments or resignations.
• Unique Message Identification 'stamp' for traceability and audit purposes.
• Individual audit records for all sent and received emails
• Archived emails maintain cryptographic integrity and confidentiality
